The cottage is ideally placed for visiting Staithes and Runswick Bay nearby, and exploring the moorland villages of the North York Moors National Park. This is a perfect base for a relaxing holiday. Hinderwell is a little, but bustling rural village with pubs and shops close to the beautiful fishing villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay, while being only 7 miles from the attractive harbour town of Whitby. Hinderwell is perfectly located for exploring the stunning countryside, ranging from the dramatic smugglers coves and cliffs of the coastline, to the lovely secluded dales of the North York Moors National Park. Cycling, walking, gliding, fishing and riding are all well catered for, making this the ideal location for a relaxing break.
