This is a charming, stone built, three storey terraced townhouse, located in the centre of the popular market town of Settle. Beautifully restored, the cottage is decorated and furnished to a high standard, providing warm and cosy accommodation. It includes a modern fitted kitchen, a beamed sitting room with exposed stone wall, dining area and gas fire. There are three bedrooms; a spacious king size double master bedroom on the 2nd floor (can be split into twin beds by prior arrangement), 1 x 2nd floor cot room, 1 x double. The modern bathroom has bath, shower over bath, basin and WC. It makes a perfect home for family and friends to enjoy Dales village life and get away from it all. Ideally located to enjoy the wonderful walks from the doorstep and the numerous attractions of the town, as well as the historic market square merely fifty meters away. This is a delightful holiday destination all year round. About the Area: Malham 6 miles; Skipton 17 miles; Kendal 25 miles. Settle, the lively market town, is situated at the south west rim of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It nestles beside the biggest outcrop of limestone in Britain, an area of caves, potholes, scars and cliffs, surrounded by some of the most scenic scenery in North Yorkshire. On Tuesdays, market day in Settle, the square is filled with stalls offering a large range of crafts and goods. Surrounded by local businesses, the centre of the market place is dominated by the Shambles, an historic 3-storey building, having shops on two levels with houses above, and the Town Hall. There is a good variety of restaurants and pubs, as well as a public swimming pool. The Victoria Hall offers activities such as folk nights all through the year, and is a cinema at weekends. The renown Settle-Carlisle Railway crosses some of the most magnificent and stimulating upland scenery in the country. Within easy reach are the natural attractions of Malham Cove and Gordale Scar, as well as the close by Dales towns of Skipton and Malham. Settle is at the centre of outstanding walking country and is an ideal base for touring the Lake District, the Forest of Bowland, and the Dales.
