This is a traditional brick built property, part of the owner's barn conversion in the peaceful village of Boylestone, just 9 miles from Ashbourne. Furnished and decorated to a high standard, this former shippen is welcoming and comfortable. All on the ground floor. There is one double bedroom with a delightful four poster bed & ensuite (shower, WC and basin). Well equipped kitchen with dining area. Cosy sitting room with sofabed (suitable for child), dining area & electric woodburner-effect fire. Beautiful, mature gardens, perfect for al fresco dining. Brilliant footpaths surround the cottage, while the 17th Century village pub offers a good choice of real ales and a friendly atmosphere. Explore the National Trust's Sudbury Hall and Calke Abbey, or visit the town of Ashbourne and its antique shops and traditional coaching inns. There is plenty to do and see! Amenities: Full Calor gas fired central heating throughout, electric fire in sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, combined colour TV/video, DVD. Library of books/games. All fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Cot & highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars. Shared use of large garden with private terrace, furniture & BBQ. 1 well behaved pet welcome at 10 per week. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 2.5 miles, pub 5 mins walk.
