This is a spacious stone built, barn conversion located in the attractive village of Brompton-by-Sawdon, in-between Scarborough and Pickering. Decorated and furnished to a good standard, it boasts a host of features. There are two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x ground floor twin. Galleried landing with double sofa bed. Ground floor bathroom with bath with shower over, WC & basin. Fitted kitchen leading to conservatory dining area. Spacious living room with open fire in feature brick fireplace & stairs leading to galleried first floor. Triple aspect windows make it airy and light and doors from the conservatory lead onto a private patio where guests can relax. The countryside is superb for walking, cycling and riding while just a few minutes walk away is the village pub and shop selling local produce. Visit Scarborough with its lovely sandy beaches or the market town of Malton, or explore the historic minster city of York. There are plenty of things to do! About the Area: Scarborough 8 miles; Pickering 8 miles. The pleasant country village of Brompton-by-Sawdon is situated between Scarborough and Pickering on the borders of the Forge Valley which is an area of breathtaking countryside. This scenic location, with its country inns, stone built cottages and village butchers is perfectly placed for exploring the countryside and the surrounding area is renowned as a haven for walkers. For something a little bit different, visit the Bee Farm a short drive away, enjoy the lake or visit the traditional tearooms for some light refreshment nearby! Slightly further afield the historic market town of Malton offers charming shopping streets, whilst the renowned family beaches and seaside attractions of Scarborough are within easy reach.
