This beautiful stone built, detached cottage is located in the centre of the charming village of Burnsall, with the River Wharfe and the Dales Way close by. Finished to a high standard, it boasts comfortable, well equipped accommodation, with a cosy and welcoming atmosphere and a delightful combination of modern furnishings and original features. The lovely sitting room has exposed beams and Yorkshire stone flooring, with a warming multi-fuel stove. There is a fitted kitchen with dining area, and the lovely courtyard garden makes an ideal spot for al fresco dining. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x family room with double bed and child's bunk (suitable for two children aged 12 yrs and under). The bathroom has bath with shower over, basin and WC. Utility room. An award-winning pub, serving real ales and delicious food is only a short walk away. Good walking and cycling can be enjoyed right from the doorstep. This is a perfect location, all year round. About the Area: Grassington 4 miles; Skipton 12 miles. Burnsall is a charming village in pretty Wharfedale, located on a bend in the River Wharfe and framed by the spectacular backdrop of Burnsall Fell. The 12th Century church is thought to be the oldest building in the village and the attractive village school is one of the oldest in Britain. Probably the most renowned feature in the village is the bridge, a traditional Dales bridge boasting five stone arches. The river winds through the village, which, with an extensive village green and superb walks in the region, make this wonderful area an excellent base for exploring the Dales and everything it has to offer. The village itself contains a small shop selling sweets, ice-cream and a variety of essential goods, a tea room, a pub/hotel, whilst a fuller range of facilities are available at nearby Grassington and Skipton. Burnsall's river 'beach' is a must for children on a sunny day, only a few minutes walk away.
