The stable door of the kitchen opens onto large, sunny beautiful gardens with a lovely beck trickling down the centre; an ideal spot to unwind. About the Area: Kirbymoorside 2.5 miles; Pickering 10 miles; Helmsley 9 miles. Fadmoor is a pretty village, dotted with old stone cottages nestled amidst the stunning countryside of the North York Moors National Park, just 2.5 miles from the lovely market town of Kirbymoorside. The village offers a country inn serving food, while Kirkbymoorside is a charming place with an 'old fashioned feel', and guests will find lots to keep them occupied in the many tearooms, restaurants and pubs there. For the golf enthusiasts there is even an 18 hole course. On the doorstep there is excellent walking and beautiful scenery of the National Park, as well as many picturesque villages, such as Hutton-le-Hole, close by. Pickering, the start of the North York Moors Steam Railway, is definitely worth a visit, or enjoy the area's museums, castles, trout fishing and market towns.
