A charming, red brick cottage resting on the banks of the River Esk by the renowned old railway viaduct, only one mile away from the ancient fishing port of Whitby. Decorated and furnished to a very high standard, the property offers comfortable accommodation throughout. There are two bedrooms: 1 x kingsize double with adjoining sitting area with futon bed and balcony access. 1 x adult bunks. Bathroom with bath with shower over, WC and basin. Ground floor basin and WC. Well equipped, fitted kitchen with dining area. Cosy sitting room with french windows leading on to a private patio area and a superb first floor balcony with stunning views of the River Esk. Enjoy Whitby with its famous Abbey and its winding streets or explore the stunning North Yorkshire coastline and the dramatic moors beyond. This wonderful property has plenty to offer any time of the year. About the Area: Robin Hood's Bay 6 miles; Scarborough 19 miles; Pickering 20 miles. Situated at the mouth of the River Esk, the ancient fishing port of Whitby is ideal for exploring this stunning part of Yorkshire with its beautiful coastline and the magnificent North York Moors. Whitby is a charming town of character, with winding streets and hidden alleys, has a scenic harbour, secure sandy beaches, notwithstanding the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
