A fantastic Grade II listed Victorian renovated old station and stationmaster's house at Ruswarp, only just over a mile away from Whitby's renowned harbour. Great care has been taken to retain and enhance original features. The property is excellently furnished and decorated and provides spacious, comfortable accommodation. Set over three floors. There are five bedrooms: 1 x four poster double with ensuite (bath, WC & basin), 1 x double, 1 x family room with single bed, adult bunks & ensuite (shower, WC & basin), 2 x single each with additional pull out stacker bed. Bathroom with bath (shower on taps), WC & basin. Ground floor shower, WC & basin. Kitchen with AGA, belfast sink & utility room. Dining room. Lounge with woodburning stove. Second lounge with 'living flame' gas fire in Victorian style fireplace. The village of Ruswarp has very good amenities, such as boating on the River Esk, a 9 hole golf course and a miniature railway. Close by are Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay, the beautiful Esk Valley Railway, and dramatic moors inland. For those who are steam lovers, steam trains pass the station on special occasions and throughout summer months. About the Area: Whitby 2 miles; Robin Hood's Bay 6 miles. Ruswarp, a quiet little North York Moors village, with a shop and pub, is located just 2 miles inland from Whitby and the Yorkshire Coast. It boasts its own 9 hole golf course and nearby, both sea and river fishing are available. An hours boating on Ruswarp's river, or riding on the local miniature steam railway are both to be enjoyed!
