Superb, spacious sitting room with full sized double bed settee, wooden floors, feature open fire and lovely views towards the village. This property makes an ideal holiday retreat any time of the year. There are two lakes offering fly and coarse fishing, and visitors have the option to hire a private hot tub. About the Area: Richmond 3 miles; Barnard Castle 7 miles. The pretty and tranquil Dales village of Gilling West, winner of the "Yorkshire in Bloom" award, is located in stunning rolling countryside a few miles to the north of the famous market town of Richmond, with a Georgian Theatre and medieval castle overlooking the River Swale. The village has a lovely old church, two pubs serving food and a village post office/shop. There are bridleways and footpaths in every direction and fishing is available nearby.
