A traditional terraced Lake District cottage set on the outskirts of the lovely village of Penruddock. This delightful cottage offers warm and welcoming accommodation. There are two bedrooms, with magnificent views : 1 x king size double, 1 x twin. Ground floor bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Fitted kitchen. Spacious sitting room with dining area and a cosy woodburning stove. Front porch. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the wonderful, spacious cottage garden, take a pleasant walk on the various footpaths throughout the area or visit the 18th Century Herdwick Inn with its selection of ales and renowned restaurant. Just 6 miles away is Penrith and Keswick 11 miles away, there are lots of amenities on offer. This is a lovely Ullswater cottage, and makes an ideal romantic retreat. Penruddock itself isperfectly placed for exploring the Lakes and surrounding areas, such as fell walking, fishing, pony trekking or golf, not to mention simply taking in the beautiful scenery Amenities: Woodburning stove in living area fuelling radiators, additional heating from electric panel heaters, additional hot water from immersion heater if required. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD player, CD player etc. Fuel, power & starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Cot & highchair on request. Off road parking for two cars. Spacious mature cottage garden with furniture & BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Pub 10 minutes walk. Shops 3 miles
