This cottage is a superb stone built barn conversion located on the end of the original farmhouse boasting stunning views across the surrounding gardens and open countryside. It has been renovated to a good standard, all on the ground floor, featuring an open plan living area complete with exposed beams, picture windows and French doors, which lead to a private garden, perfect for al fresco dining. There are two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin with ensuite (shower, basin and WC). The bathroom has bath, shower over, basin and WC. The kitchen is well equipped and fully fitted with dining area. Full of character and charm, this is a perfect country hideaway, all year round. There are two lakes offering fly and coarse fishing, and guests have the option to hire a secluded hot tub to use during their stay. The owners, who live in the farmhouse, provide a welcoming atmosphere to all visitors. About the Area: Richmond 3 miles; Barnard Castle 7 miles. The pretty and tranquil Dales village of Gilling West, winner of the "Yorkshire in Bloom" award, is located in stunning rolling countryside a few miles to the north of the renown market town of Richmond, with a Georgian Theatre and medieval castle overlooking the River Swale. The village has a lovely old church, two pubs serving food and a village post office/shop. There are bridleways and footpaths in every direction and fishing is available nearby.
