A lovely, creative conversion of an old hayloft, resting near the owner's farmhouse in Staintondale, in the centre of the North York Moors. It has been restored, furnished and decorated to a high standard and offers comfortable, cosy accommodation. There are two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin, both with sloping ceilings and original beams. Bathroom with 'shower bath' (standard length bath with large curved shower area with electric shower over), basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric woodburning effect stove. Situated in a peaceful rural location perfect for those wanting to explore Scarborough nearby, Whitby and beyond. Pony trekking is available locally. About the Area: Scarborough 8 miles; Whitby 13 miles. Staintondale is a wonderfully unspoilt village set on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, and just half a mile from the coast. In-between the fishing town of Whitby, with its renowned Abbey, and the spa town of Scarborough and its entertainment and theatres, it is a true haven of peace providing the best of both worlds. Just down the road is the Staintondale Shire Horse Farm, while there are a network of bridleways and footpaths in the village. This is a superb base for exploring the region. Brief Facilities/Highlights: Cot, highchair and stairgate available. Enclosed walled garden with patio and garden furniture. Ample off road parking. Well behaved dogs welcome by arrangement. Sorry, no smoking. Shop (limited opening times) and pub 1 mile. Amenities: Oil fired central heating throughout, additional heating from electric woodburning effect stove in living area.
