This traditional Lake District cottage is a stone-built semi-detached building, situated in a central position within the pretty village of Bassenthwaite. Just eight miles from Keswick and dating back to 1770, the cottage retains a great deal of character features including exposed beams, an attractive fireplace made from local stone and a spiral staircase. The accommodation is simple yet comfortable and the amenities of the village - including a traditional village pub - are on the doorstep. Bassenthwaite itself is ideally placed for exploring the Lakes and surrounding areas.
With three bedrooms able to accommodate up to five people in style and comfort, this 18th Century cottage enjoys beautiful views of the surrounding countryside with all modern amenities close at hand.
