A lovely semi-detached barn conversion, in the rural hamlet of High Normanby, close to the beautiful villages of Fylingthorpe and Robin Hood's Bay. This former goat barn has been lovingly renovated retaining much of its original character with flagged floors, exposed timber and a beautiful vaulted ceiling. Furnished and decorated to a very high standard, the property offers comfortable, light and airy accommodation. All set on the ground floor. There is one double bedroom. Bathroom with separate shower, WC and basin. Wonderful open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with sofa bed and electric stove. Ideally situated for enjoying excellent walks, including the coastal paths and trails nearby. Explore Robin Hood's Bay with its quaint cottages and cobbled streets or visit Whitby nearby, with its superb sandy beaches and Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps. This is an excellent base for exploring the National Park and Yorkshire Coast. About the Area: Whitby 6 miles; Scarborough 17 miles. Robin Hood's Bay, consist of quaint cottages and narrow cobbled streets, it is one of the most beautiful villages on the English coastline. Located between Whitby and Scarborough, this quaint old fishing village is nestled at the edge of a wide sweeping bay backed by magnificent cliffs and dramatic moorland scenery. Holidaymakers will enjoy the beach and its cliff top walks and for the more serious walkers there are many long distance trails passing through the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks which all take in spectacular Robin Hood's Bay. The village amenities are excellent with charming alleyways to visit many places to rest, relax and enjoy refreshments. This is an ideal base for enjoying the Yorkshire Coast.
