This is a superb, semi-detached house in a peaceful location, a few minutes walk from the middle of the pretty market town of Helmsley. The house has been lovingly and tastefully decorated and furnished, providing an extremely comfortable home. There are four spacious and sunny bedrooms: 1 x ground floor double with single chair bed, 1 x kingsize double with ensuite (shower, WC & basin), 1 x twin with 2 additional pull-out beds, 1 x adult bunk. Ground floor shower room with shower, WC & basin. Bathroom with bath with shower over, WC & basin. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Lovely, sitting room with open fire. Delightful conservatory opening onto a beautiful garden in which to relax and unwind. Enjoy riverside walks, traditional tea rooms and former coaching inns. This is an ideal base for everyone! About the Area: Kirkbymoorside 6 miles; Thirsk 12 miles; Pickering 13 miles. Helmsley is a prestigious market town resting in a sheltered corner of Upper Ryedale, on the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park. It has a spacious market square surrounded by houses, shops and hotels. The area is important historically as Helmsley has its own 12th Century castle and close by is the English Heritage's Rievaulx Abbey. There is superb walking from the doorstep - the Cleveland Way starts in Helmsley - and the North York Moors with their hidden dales and villages are beautiful in every season. Less than an hour drive away is York, while Scarborough and the east coast are just over an hour whilst Pickering and the beginning of the renowned steam railway line (North Yorkshire Moors Railway) is within 30 minutes drive.
