A caringly renovated stone built detached cottage, located in the grounds of Ghyll Bank House on the edge of the village of Staveley, 5 miles from Windermere. Presenting magnificent views over Kentmore Valley, Morecambe Bay and the stunning Lakeland Fells, this single storey accommodation has open plan living throughout with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner and electric fire. It has two separate bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x single. Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. and the shared use of the exquisite surrounding grounds. With fantastic walks also available from the doorstep as well as the nearby towns of Windermere, Bowness, Ambleside and Kendal all within a short drive, Ghyll Bank Bungalow is the perfect place to get away from it all! Amenities: Electric storage heaters and radiators throughout with additional woodburner and electric fire in sitting area. Double electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine (in adjacent utility room), colour TV, DVD. Storage heating and first 4 of other electricity inc. in rent with remainder of electricity charged on 1 coin meter. Starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Shared grounds with private patio area, garden furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles
