This lovely cottage is a 3 bedroom detached bungalow in just under an acre of grounds, a few minutes' walk from all the amenities of Rippingale village. The cottage used to be a stable block for Rippingale's manor house, and the property has retained many original features, such as hay feeders, troughs and stable doors. There are three bedrooms: 1 x double (en-suite bath with shower over, WC and basin), 2 x twin (each with en-suite shower, WC and basin). Two further WCs with basins. Good size country kitchen with dining area for entertaining. Large sitting room with woodburning stove ideal for those cosy evenings in. The gardens are made up of formal areas laid to lawn, a coppice and paddock, with access for any horses or horseboxes accompanying you! With so much to do and see in the area, such as horse riding, scenic walks, market towns, country houses and quaint seaside resorts, this location is ideal for a peaceful break or a horse riding holiday in Lincolnshire. About the area: Rippingale is a small beautiful village set in open farmland to the east of the A15, 5 miles north of Bourne in Lincolnshire. It offers its own pub, church, village hall and shop/post office. Bourne has various shops, pubs, takeaways and restaurants, as well as a good supermarket. There is superb walking and some lovely bridleways to explore, and plenty of attractions a short drive away, including the Doddington Hall, Museum of Lincolnshire Life and the stunning Lincolnshire coastline, as well as Norfolk attractions including King's Lynn, Thetford Forest and the villages of the Norfolk coast. Rippingale also makes a perfect base for antique hunters, while Stamford and Grantham both offer a good selection of shops.
