This well appointed and comfortably furnished Dorset cottage, with its lawned garden, is placed beside the sparkling waters of the River Crane in an Area of Special Scientific Interest. There are three bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with additional single folding bed, 1 x double, 1 x single. Bathroom with bath with shower attachment off taps, WC and basin. Fitted galley kitchen. Dining room. Sitting room. The surrounding farm land and heath have plenty of wildlife and offer wonderful rural walks. Locally you can visit the Heavy Horse Centre or Moors Valley Country Park, with Go Ape high-wire adventure, and just a short drive away lies the boundary of the New Forest National Park, with its wild deer, ponies and picturesque villages. About the area: The thriving community of Verwood is located in rural East Dorset, close to the borders of Wiltshire and Hampshire, 5 miles from Ringwood, which is home to the superb Moors Valley Country Park including the Go Ape high-wire adventure. Verwood is surrounded by spectacular farmland and beautiful countryside, all this making a great touring centre. Within 6 miles is the boundary of the New Forest, a scenic National Park, renowned for its wild ponies, deer, lovely villages and quaint inns, and the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. Bournemouth is an easy drive south where there are award winning sandy beaches, good shops, cinemas and theatres, or travel a short distance north to the city of Salisbury and its magnificent cathedral, Wilton House and, of course, famous Stonehenge.
