Two self contained holiday apartments on the edge of the unspoilt National Trust village of Luccombe, within Exmoor National Park, at the foot of Dunkery Hill. Laid out over the first floor of an attractive Grade II listed stone coach house, set in 8 acres of large, private grounds with direct access onto Exmoor itself. Both apartments have quality, well-equipped accommodation with fantastic views from every window. There is a private sitting out area for each apartment, and access to a children's play area complete with swings. The grounds are a haven for wildlife, and even red deer have been known to venture to the edge of the estate. The quaint village of Porlock, the medieval village of Dunster and the seaside resort of Minehead are all close by and with a cream tea and home made bread to welcome you on your arrival, a stay at this awesome location will be an unforgettable experience. The village is perfectly placed for exploring the breathtaking views of Exmoor, which covers 260 miles of spectacular scenery with wild heathered moorland, where red deer and wild ponies wander freely, deep wooded valleys and rugged coastline. From the highest point at Dunkery Beacon there are unforgettable views across the Bristol Channel towards the Welsh coast. Locally you can fish the sparkling streams, try pony trekking across the moor, walk the numerous footpaths or simply just relax and watch the buzzards soar.
