The property is set in half an acre of enclosed garden, with some of the finest rivers and woodland in the Highlands surrounding it, and endless opportunities for outdoor activities. Practically on the doorstep are cycling, walking, golf, fishing and wildlife-spotting, as is seasonal skiing and snowboarding at the excellent ski resorts nearby. The nearby town of Grantown-on-Spey is nearby and has excellent shops and restaurants. A perfect base to relax in peaceful surroundings. About the area: Grantown-on-Spey which is in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, has plenty to offer. On offer is a variety of shops, bars and restaurants in the town to lure visitors, or you can use it as a base for exploring the various pursuits of the area. Have a great time fishing, golfing, walking in the hills and woodlands surrounding you, bird watching and of course follow the Castle and Whisky trails. When in season, skiing is a popular activity at the Cairngorms and Lecht Ski Centres nearby, whilst the scenery of the Cairngorms National Park gives you peace and quiet from a hectic life, no matter what the season.
