Kirkcudbright offers an ideal destination for a relaxing family holiday, and The Townhouse is the perfect base from which to explore the area. The property is a sympathetically restored and renovated Georgian townhouse dating from 1801 which has been decorated to a high standard with a bespoke country kitchen with marble worktops and beautiful bedrooms with king size beds. The Townhouse is located in the centre of Kirkcudbright, on the beautiful north Solway shore. Many original features remain in this delightful holiday home, including fireplaces in the sitting room and bedroom, original polished timber floors throughout and a staircase with exposed beams. The pretty harbour with its selection of shops, cafes and pubs, and walking or cycling opportunities are on your doorstep.
Kircudbright was established as a Royal Burgh in 1455, which gave the town status to trade with ports outside Scotland.
