Surrounded by stunning, open countryside with the Lammamuir hills on the horizon, this location is ideal for that hard earned break. The area is perfect for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland, with Berwick, Holy Island and a few coastal villages within easy reach. About the area: Berwick-upon-Tweed 11 miles; Edinburgh 47 miles. Coldingham is a village nestled in between farmland above Coldingham Bay, a sheltered crescent of beautiful golden sand on the Berwickshire coastline. With a superb beach and brilliant canoeing and surfing, the village has an array of local shops, restaurants and pubs. 3 miles away is St. Abbs, a quaint and picturesque fishing village and its Nature Reserve is famous for its variety of birds and marine life, attracting sub aqua divers from around the world. Fishing and diving excursions are available here. This area is perfect for exploring The Scottish Borders and Northumberland, with their magnificent coastlines and lovely walking, cycling, golf, horse riding and fishing. Further inland, explore a multitude of castles, abbeys, stately homes and gardens.
