A 1930s Welsh cottage with the owner's house attached to the rear. The cottage is nestled into the sheltered side of the headland in-between the beautiful mile-long Sandy Beach, and Trefadog Beach, 0.2 miles away. This Anglesey cottage is well equipped, spacious, light and airy and in a wonderful location for enjoying a seaside holiday. There are five bedrooms: 2 x twin (in the loft space, max headroom of 5'9'), 2 x ground floor double, 1 x ground floor twin. Bathroom with corner bath, WC and basin (limited headroom). Ground floor bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and basin. Fitted kitchen. Dining room. Sitting room with log-effect electric fire. Both beaches are within 400 yards and offer safe bathing, brilliant watersports and, at the far end of Sandy Beach, a caf, shop and licensed bistro (open between Easter and the end of October). Llanfaethlu offers a welcoming coffee shop, and there is a celebrated seafood restaurant at nearby Church Bay About the area: Sandy Beach 0.13 miles, Llanfaethlu 1.2 miles, Holyhead 13 miles. As its name would suggest this is a long sandy beach, backed by dunes, located on the beautiful north-west coastline on the magnificent Isle of Anglesey. This mile-long beach is perfect for safe bathing, surfing, sailing, windsurfing and sea canoeing. Between Easter and the end of October it has a caf, shop and bistro open to the public. Nearby by is the small unassuming village of Llanfaethlu, which offers a local shop and a very good coffee house, whilst Church Bay boasts a excellent seafood restaurant. Within easy reach is Wales' only working windmill, while the surrounding coastline and countryside provide brilliant scenic walks, fishing, birdwatching, climbing and biking. Enjoy the island's golf courses, Anglesey Sea Zoo, the ancient town of Beaumaris and its medieval castle and variety of shops and restaurants, an exhilarating boat fishing trip or Plas Newydd NT mansion and gardens.
