A pretty, stone built cottage, perfectly located within walking distance of the River Fraw, in the quiet village of Aberffraw, on the Isle of Anglesey. The location is renowned for its beautiful sandy beaches, including Llanddwyn, once voted Britain's fourth best beach. This is a perfect holiday location, any time of year. About the area: A Rhosneigr 4 miles; Trearddur Bay 10 miles. Aberffraw is a historic, seaside village, serenely located beside the banks of the tidal River Fraw, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Once an important port, the village now has the ancient Church of St Beuno, a stunning pack horse bridge, a variety of craft shops and tea rooms, a charming village pub and an amazing white sandy beach with panoramic views of Snowdonia. Just 4 miles away is the superb watersports centre at Rhosneigr offering excellent surfing, wind and kite surfing and sailing opportunities. Hire a bike from the village hire shop and explore the nearby coastal cycle track, visit Anglesey Sea Zoo and the working windmill at Llynnon, or you can even take a ferry trip across to Ireland. Nearby are also the National Nature Reserve spots at Newborough Warren and Malltraeth Pool, with sweeping sand dunes and marshes.
