This is an ideal base for touring with Kirkby Lonsdale, lively Kendal and the Lake District National Park all just a short drive away. The South Lakeland Leisure Village is located a couple of miles from Carnforth on the border of the Southern Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. The 'Village' was built in a former quarry, and offers top quality accommodation in the form of Scandinavian Log Cabins, built on ten acres around a beautiful large lake. The main club house, a former 17th Century farmhouse, provides quality leisure facilities such as an indoor swimming pool, steam room and gym, to name just a few.
