This custom, newly built home is located within a secure, gated high mountain community in Fairview - just minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway and lively downtown Asheville with its galleries, shops, and restaurants. It is only a short drive to Lake Lure, Bat Cave, Chimney Rock, and Hickory Nut State Park, for those who want to get out and explore. If you choose, settle in to play at Blue Moon the entire length of your stay and enjoy modern conveniences including Bose surround sound on the 52" family room TV, two i-Pod docks and satellite radio centrally wired to a built-in speaker system, a piano, wi-fi, X-box, pool table, ping-pong table, and a wet bar.
Take your morning coffee enjoying the wooded splendor and long range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from one of the private balconies off each of the three master suites . The main level master suite features an unusual and wonderful eucalyptus steam shower. "My husband and I stayed at Blue Moon Lodge for our honeymoon and we couldn't have chosen a better place! The home is strategically located on the 14 acres so we had plenty of privacy to enjoy ourselves. From the master bedroom, we watched the moon rise in the evening, and wild turkeys wandering the grounds in the morning. We cooked in a lot, and everything we needed was there, including a great stereo system. The other thing that really stood out for us was the convenience to grocery and drug stores, which was like, a 5 minute drive for that overlooked item. Lastly, we appreciated that Fairview is right between Black Mountain and Asheville, making it easy to enjoy the best offerings of both towns. Thanks Blue Moon Lodge for the perfect honeymoon getaway -- we look forward to coming back again and again!"
