From this 3-story chalet on a cliff at the foot of the mountains just yards from the edge of the world, look down into cresting waves rolling in from the horizon, watch sea gulls soaring at eye level, pelicans skimming the waves in single file, pods of whales spouting just off shore and passing ships sailing the curvature of the earth.A tree covered private road leads down through Oswald West State Park to this secluded beach front area between Cape Falcon and Arch Cape where there are no crowds, no businesses and no streetlights. The spacious 3rd floor has an observation deck with a gas grill, a huge sectional couch covered in sheep skins, a wood burning stove that heats stacks of massage rocks, a bucket winch out the window to the ground, big screen 1080i LCD HD DirecTV with Sony Blu Ray HD player & home theatre sound, wireless high speed internet, an over-equipped kitchen with custom cabinetry, bar and stools, 2 dining tables with seating for 10, high chair, half bath, guitar, electric piano, books, games, movies, model ships, wood floor and a mounted brass telescope. Authentic nautical charts line the teak-framed 3-story stairwell to the 2nd floor. The Master Suite has a king bed & intimate infrared sauna for 2 and a 2nd hot tub on the master suite deck will be installed and available on June 22, 2009, TV, table with chairs, another telescope and a private ocean view deck with 2 surfboards. A full bath down the hall connects to the Crew's Quarters with 2 double beds. The 1st floor has a doggie door, another full bath, full laundry, garage, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and sliding doors to yet another deck with rocking chairs and a 4-person ocean view hot tub. Hammocks strung between towering Sitka spruce trees overlook a large fully fenced manicured yard with a big picnic table, big BBQ smoker/grill and surrounding bamboo garden. A short trail along the fence leads to 2 Adirondack chairs perched privately on the edge of the cliff overlooking 2 miles of mostly deserted beach.
