Jaffe House is nestled in a very private and natural Rodanthe setting among Japanese Black Pines and other native vegetation. It is a short walk to the beach, approximately 300 feet away. This modernistic house incorporates the nature in which it is surrounded throughout the interior distinguishing it as one of kind. The remarkable interior boasts pickled cypress paneling and pine board floors throughout. The spacious floor plan is approximately 1700 square feet. The first level offers two bedrooms each with two twin beds (one with a ceiling fan), a full bath and laundry room with a washing machine. Climb the spiral staircase to the second level to access the living, dining and kitchen in addition to breathtaking Outer Banks ocean and sound views from two furnished sundecks. The third and final level completes this floor plan with the Queen Master Loft bedroom and bath with private oceanfront deck. Thoughtfully designed to capture the east to west prevailing Rodanthe breezes. Completely furnished with the original 1960’s furniture and décor that will definitely take you back in time to a simpler era.

Norman Jaffe, who studied architecture at UC Berkeley in California, built over 600 projects during his thirty-five year career. He received numerable architecture awards and also participated in national and international exhibitions at leading institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, New York. And it was on Eastern Long Island that Jaffe found his niche to create the ultimate vacation homes and explore his love of light and form.
