Upon entering Casa Cascada through a massive porte-cochere you find yourself in a grand entry foyer featuring an elegant curved staircase leading to the lower level. To the left is the vaulted great room with a two-sided stone fireplace that is shared with a large wraparound deck. The beautifully decorated great room has huge windows showcasing the San Sophia Ridge and a wet bar suitable for entertaining a houseful of guests. Elegant furnishings add a touch of class to this special room.
The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s delight. The large center island holds a six-burner gas Viking cook top with a grill. In one corner is a comfortable breakfast nook which seats six. Granite countertops, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer with extra drawers, two ovens and two Bosch dishwashers complete the kitchen. Off the kitchen is a wonderful dining area with an impressive table with room enough for twelve. French doors open to a spacious deck overlooking the Galloping Goose ski run.
Also on this level is the main master suite with king-size bed, gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, wet bar, mini-frig and private decks. The en suite bathroom has two sinks with vanity, a jetted tub and a steam shower. Just adjacent to the master suite are “his and her" sitting rooms.
Cross the enclosed bridge and you will find two additional master suites. One suite has a king-size bed; the other has two queen-size beds. Each suite has a steam shower, jetted tub, two sinks, gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, and wet bar with mini-frig.
Go down the stairs in the front of the house and you will find three more suites. One has a king-size bed and a fireplace. The second suite is a bedroom which is a bunk room with six twin beds. The third suite has two twin beds and a kitchenette. All three of these suites have flat-screen TVs. Also on this level is a spacious ski room with ten lockers, a large steam shower and a family room with large bar and a 52" flat-screen TV.
The exterior of the house is just as noteworthy as the interior. With over 2,000 square feet of deck, an outdoor fireplace, a creek running through the property and of course, a large hot tub, this house will draw you outside. Casa Cascada is a true ski-in/ski-out property onto a beginner run.
