This hand-hewn log cabin has it all: cozy, warm, and inviting with all the conveniences of home. The cabin is nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains on a 5000-acre private resort. The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a trout-fishing pond, trout-fishing streams (bring your own fishing gear for both), tennis, basketball, walking trails, and biking trails. The Appalachian Trail goes through the resort, and borders the Pisgah National Forest. Snow skiing, golf, horseback riding, pavilion, and much more are available. These amenities vary based on the season and weather.
Four-wheel drive is recommended during inclement weather.
Hiking on Site:
The Appalachian Trail goes right through the Wolf Laurel Resort, just minutes from the Wolf Laurel View. Also, just minutes away, you can hike up to the Big Bald Mountain (also inside the resort) for the most spectacular views in Western North Carolina.

"WOW, what a wonderful place. Thanks so much for letting us stay. The leaves and weather were gorgeous! The kids loved the hot tub and we all enjoyed our picnic at the top of the Bald Mountain. It was definitely a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of real life. WE WILL BE BACK!"

"Our family had such an incredible time here – by far the best mountain trip we’ve ever had. Walking on the nature trail, reading by the fire, sitting in the hot tub. We came to celebrate our oldest daughter’s sixteenth birthday, and the cabin turned out to be a gift to all of us. Thank you so much for this beautiful, tranquil space, we hope to spend time here again."

"It was a lovely week here in Wolf Laurel. We adored spending time up in your cabin and in the Jacuzzi. The village was a great place for the kids and we all loved the hiking trails. The area is just breathtaking. We visited Grandfather Mtn., Blowing Rock, Linville Caverns, Tweetsie Railroad, Chimney Rock, Biltmore House, etc. It was a week full of wonderful experiences which we will all cherish for years to come. Your cabin was a wonderful place to return to after a busy day out. Thanks for sharing it with us."
