Mountainside Getaway offers a serene Mountain setting while providing convenient access to Asheville and Johnson City. This 1800 square foot, modern log home is located just 22 miles north of Asheville and about 4 miles from the Appalachian Trail. Just minutes west of I-26, it provides easy access to numerous mountain activities like whitewater rafting, biking, hiking, skiing, fishing, and golfing. Whether you want to fish in the stocked stream across the street, bike the numerous roads or trails, hike the Appalachian Trail or try out one of the many beautiful golf courses in and around Asheville, you are sure to enjoy yourself. In the winter months, you can enjoy the Wolf Laurel Ski Resort just 10 minutes away. You'll feel at home in the spacious interior with cedar lined walls and solid oak floors. The home comes complete with antique furnishings, as well as 2 televisions (one with theater screen and surround sound), 1 VCR, and 2 DVD players. The outdoor deck offers a comfortable location to soak in the beautiful sights and sounds of the nearby mountain stream. If you want a truly nice place to spend a mountain vacation, this is the place!
