Banjo Branch Hide-A-way is a renovated mid-century home with breathtaking views of the mountainous countryside surrounding the beautiful Mars Hill valley. The historic Smith Family invites you to enjoy all the amenities of home plus easy access to regional activities. The house occupies six quiet acres adjacent to rolling family farmland and the lovely Pisgah National Forest. Enjoy a quiet dinner in our spacious dining room or a surround-sound film in the family room. Our patio is perfect for catching a highland breeze on warm days. You may even hear sonorous melodies of the Mars Hill College marching band echo through the valley! When the weather is chilly, just move inside where our sitting room offers the same gorgeous pastoral view with a gas fireplace. Downstairs is our game room currently featuring ping-pong and leather sofas. Crave a classy dinner or urban adventure? Asheville is only half an hour south. Enjoy day trips to the Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn, and Blue Ridge Parkway. Banjo branch is also conveniently located to white water rafting, trout fishing, hiking trails, waterfalls, the Appalachian Trail, and small-town shopping at Burnsville. Ski at nearby Wolf Laurel Resort in the winter and golf in the spring, summer, and fall. Outdoor tennis and indoor swimming are available at Mars Hill College.
