Enjoy the natural setting of Laurelwood Glen on its shared three acres just 15 minutes west of beautiful downtown Asheville, NC. Laurelwood Glen is a 2400 square foot, custom built, log home with a spacious master suite, and a unique open loft. The home's large living room has a soaring cathedral ceiling and features unique lodge pole furnishings, and numerous examples of the owners’ personally hand-crafted log creations and artfully framed regional photographs. Additionally, there is an antique 1800’s cast iron parlor stove, a 52" flat screen TV, air conditioning unit and leather sleeper sofa.
The master suite includes a massive king-sized lodge pole pine bed and there is a Jacuzzi tub in the master bath. Three additional sleeping areas are located upstairs and share a second full bathroom with an antique claw foot tub. Relax and unwind with the available exercise glider, reversible pool table & air hockey, board games, books and more.
The fully equipped kitchen has distinctive wormy chestnut cabinetry and dishwasher. The large central island is a great focal point for preparing gourmet meals and entertaining gatherings of family and friends. Step outside onto the wraparound deck with an Infinity hot tub, gas barbecue grill, log swing, patio set and private woodland views.
Western North Carolina has endless opportunities for outdoor recreational activities including hiking, biking, white water rafting and more. Local points of interest include the Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore Estate, The North Carolina Arboretum, Folk Art Center, Appalachian Trail and natural hot springs. After your adventure filled day, be sure to visit bustling downtown Asheville with it's wonderful array of eclectic restaurants, unique shops and entertainment venues.
