Ambiance surrounds this spacious (3 bedroom, 1.5 bath, 1570 sq. ft.) all wooden cabin that features all the amenities of home and more! Pie in the Sky is a secluded getaway without a rooftop in sight. Every room boasts pine and cypress walls with tongue and groove wood ceilings. The cabin is tastefully decorated with a romantic flair. The furnishings are contemporary with antique accents. Each bedroom has its own cable TV, plush blankets, down comforters and soft pillows. The open floor plan of the downstairs area provides ample space for cooking, dining, and relaxing by the fire. The kitchen has been recently updated with new appliances and ceramic tile flooring. Two acres of surrounding property provide both privacy and plenty of room to roam. Only five miles away, the quaint town of Burnsville offers specialty shops, cafés, galleries, several grocery stores, and an old-fashioned movie theatre. Other nearby attractions include the Blue Ridge Parkway, horseback riding, Mount Mitchell State Park (highest US peak east of the Mississippi River), and gem mining in Little Switzerland. Minutes away is Mount Mitchell’s golf course that is rated a top 10 public course in NC. Downtown Asheville is a tranquil non-stop 35-40 minute drive from Pie in the Sky. After a fun-filled day of exploring the area, unwind in the private four-person hot tub overlooking mountain views. You'll never want to leave!
Four-wheel drive is recommended during inclement weather.

"Thank you so much for a wonderful break. The cabin and views are gorgeous and everyone in the area has been so welcoming and friendly. We've been hiking, rafting, eating (way too much) and just generally exploring and relaxing. The hot tub was a big hit with everyone. Grandfather Mountain was a great day out-can highly recommend a visit. Hopefully we'll be able to come back again soon as I can't think of a better break."

"What a fantastic time we had! The cabin is awesome. We've rented cabins in the North Georgia mountains due to the easy drive. The extra three hours here was worth it! I hope we'll be able to visit Pie in the Sky again."

"My husband and I have stayed in numerous chalets and cabins in the area between here and Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge etc. Pie in the Sky has become our new favorite! The seclusion and the hot tub are awesome. The music selection was GREAT and we enjoyed the Righteous Brothers and Tom Jones. Thanks for your attention to detail that makes all the difference. We look forward to a return trip, soon!"
