This six bedroom, five bath home is perfectly situated at the far end of an open cove on Lake Lure. A private drive takes you across a babbling stream to the entrance, which is up a short flight of stairs and onto a spacious deck. The stream runs alongside the entire property and empties into the lake.

Beautiful maple wood floors adorn the first level living/dining/kitchen and Master Bedroom. Sleek granite counter tops align the galley kitchen which opens onto the living and dining room. A large native stone fireplace features gas logs, a great place to gather on cool evenings. The main level Master Suite opens onto the exterior deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee while viewing the lake. The main level “boat" guest room features a double bed encased in a vintage wooden boat frame. This bedroom shares a full bath with a tub/shower, along with the 2nd guest room, which accommodates a queen bed.

The upper level loft is home to another Master Suite with a king bed, a full bath with a double vanity and tub/shower. Just off to the side is yet another bedroom with a set of twin beds.

The lower level features a Recreation Room with pool table, air hockey, various other table games, and a small wet bar. There is a futon sofa in the recreation room, along with a full bath with a shower. Just off the recreation room is another guest room which has a queen bed and a private bath with double vanity and a tub/shower. This guest bedroom also opens onto the lower level patio.

The lakeside patio is a terrific spot to leisurely nap in the comfy hammock, cook-out with the gas or charcoal cooker, or for those cool fall evenings, enjoy a fire in the outdoor fireplace!

The lakefront is a spacious green area that affords comfortable play for children, or a great spot to soak up the sun. From the boat house, you can hop into the pontoon boat and take a leisurely ride around Lake Lure.
