“Cottage Walk on Bald Mountain Lake" sits at the water’s edge, affording ease of access to this beautifully serene lake. Awake in the mornings to the sound of gentle birds and waterfowl on our own “golden pond". This spacious home is adjacent to the larger “Bald Mountain Lake Lodge", and is a perfect companion when two homes are necessary for much larger groups. It is located within Rumbling Bald Resort and has full use of resort amenities.

Enjoy entry from the garage bay or utilize spacious outdoor parking just a few steps from the front entry. The views of the lake are apparent as you walk in the front door! This well furnished and decorated home has a total of 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths. Enjoy the views while dining in the bay alcove, or on the covered deck. The Master Bedroom is located on the main level and accommodates a King Bed, private bath with double vanity and a large double shower. The ample kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to make almost any type of meal. The living area sits slightly below the kitchen and dining, creating a cozy retreat. A beautiful old stone fireplace is its centerpiece. The sofa converts to a bed for additional sleeping. Just off the kitchen are a powder room and laundry facility as well as access to the garage.

From the living room, steps lead to the lower level family room which features ample seating to view the TV, as well as a game table. The large section converts to sleeping. One full bath with a tub/shower combination is located just off the family room as are the three guest bedrooms. One bedroom has a king bed, the other a queen bed; and the smaller has two twin beds.

This lower level provides direct access to the lakefront through patio doors. There is a covered patio to enjoy the out of doors, a picnic table and fire pit on the grounds and a large dock for sunbathing, swimming or fishing. A canoe is provided for your enjoyment; just remember you must wear a lifejacket, and we have provided those too!
Several floats and water toys are available. We have provided a place to store those so everyone can enjoy them!

Remember, all the amenities of the resort are available for your use, which includes pools, private beach on Lake Lure, tennis, golf and many other recreation amenities. “Cottage Walk" is about a 5-minute drive from the private amenities at the resort.

Sometimes the owner’s will allow well-behaved smaller dogs. If you want to bring all members of your family, just ask us and we will do our best to accommodate!!
