SERENITY BY THE SEA: Sleeps up to 10, 4-bedrooms, 3-baths. This is an elegant, open and luxurious home for those who appreciate a well-appointed dwelling. This home has as a small ocean view from the Master Bedroom & is across the street from Natural Bridges State Park.
The spacious & vaulted ceiling Living Room has a comfortable couch and 2 chairs. There is a 6-person table in the Dining Room open to the Living Room and this area has white, plush carpet. It is a wonderfully relaxing home for family get-togethers & wedding guests, though; no weddings at the home. The fully equipped kitchen has a Bamboo frame with glass topped table for 4. It is next to the fun Family Room, with a plush sectional couch and TV/DVD/VCR and a fireplace. Plenty of CD's and a special ocean music CD grace this room. House has a Washer, Dryer and DSL.
Upstairs, the Master bedroom has a King bed, a Double-sized Futon/couch and large Master bath with a double vanity sink and separate shower and large separate tub. There is a small ocean view from this room of Natural Bridges beach. The 2nd Bedroom has one Twin bed and a fold-up small childs cot.
The 3rd Bedroom has one Double bed with surfer decorations and a grass bed sham. The 2nd full bath is near these two bedrooms. Upstairs also has a bookshelf with a large selections of books and novels for your vacation reading. The 4th bedroom is downstairs and has 1-Double bed with a beach sunset (or sunrise) art motif. The 3rd bath is next to this bedroom. All linens are provided and the beds are made fresh for you. More linen in the closet if needed.
There are plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, bicycles and TV tables if needed.There is a fully enclosed large grassy backyard with a Gas BBQ, a large 6-person dining outdoor table with a gazebo-like framework over this table & chairs.
There is an outdoor shower, on the side yard by the BBQ. Plenty of room in the side yard to store extra bicycles. Sorry no pets allowed. There is parking for 2 cars in the garage and 2 in the driveway and 1 in FRONT of the home. If you have any more cars, please have them park on Swanton as the Cul-de-sac gets very full with the owners of the other homes.
Great location to bring your bicycles and ride along West Cliff Drive and the home has 4 -bicycles in the garage and FREE National & International Phone service to 43 countries! This home is decorated with many sea-life watercolor pictures and lots of sea-life stuffed animals. There are many fun nautical items in some of the bedrooms too.
Please take shoes off at the door to preserve the light colored carpet. There is a path with Eucalyptus trees and grass down to Natural Bridges Beach on the other side of Swanton Dr.West Cliff Drive offers spectacular ocean viewing; while riding a bicycle, driving, jogging or walking!
The Santa Cruz Beach/Boardwalk is about 2 miles from the home and has fun things to do like shopping, Fine Ocean view dining, local artist shopping, jewelry shopping, and Marini's ice cream and candy shop. Watch and enjoy the seals and the fishermen! Restaurants on the Wharf: They have been there for a long time, because they are good. Also look for the shop: "Made in Santa Cruz" for local ceramic made items, jewelry, shell magnets, pictures and candles. 3-minutes drive to downtown Santa Cruz and 2+ min drives to the Santa Cruz Beach/Boardwalk and wharf.
Monterey is about 90 min away; where the Monterey Bay Aquarium is located. This home has a great activity book with all local beach activities; do not miss the Seymore Discovery Museum for local marine life viewing, see Dolphins, full whale skeletons and fun discovery museum. If you travel down West Cliff Drive, you arrive at a set of stairs to a nice West Cliff Beach and further, toward the Santa Cruz Wharf, are the Lighthouse Field & Its Beach and the Surf Museum. Just 3-blocks away is the entrance to the large & sandy Natural Bridges St Beach Park! This is where the Monarch Butterflies winter over!
