Just 3 blocks to the Harbor and Twin Lakes, Easy walk to the Free Harbor Water Taxi that gives free boat rides up and down the harbor near the boarding ramp in front of the Crows Nest Restaurant all weekends from mid April to mid Sept. Also it is just a 10-15 minute easy walk to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk & Wharf, over the locals bridge across the San Lorenzo River. Enjoy the fun Hot Tub on upper deck with glass wind screens. The yard is fully fenced with tall hedges and a large parking area that can hold a small RV or Trailer. There is also an outdoor shower & several bicycles to enjoy.Twin Lakes Beach is an almost level walk, just 3-blocks from the home and it has fire-rings for bonfires. The Yacht Club is just 2 and 1/2 blocks away over the harbor bridge and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is just 2-more block further. This house is also 3-blocks to the harbor. You will enjoy watching the ducks, geese and swans at lagoon next to 9th Avenue. There are several Restaurants in the harbor with in an easy stroll such as the Famous Crow's Nest, for fine dining and with outside deck from which you can watch the sailboat races. The closest restaurant is a new Mexican place called Fandangos, which serves wonderful homemade flan. Aldos Restaurant, just across the harbor, is great for breakfasts and lunch. Fresh fish can also be bought from local fishermen, under Johnnys Restaurant at the entrance to the Harbor Bridge on Eaton. Also, do not miss Johnnys Monday & Tuesday Gourmet nights where a 4-course meal is only $15 and includes wine. There are also Bathrooms and Outdoor Showers at the Beach. The unique Village of Capitola is about a 10-minute drive away and the downtown area of Santa Cruz, called the Pacific Garden Mall, with theaters, more restaurants, unique shops & garden areas is about 5-minutes away. The world famous Monterey Bay Aquarium is less than an hour south on Hwy 1 as is the beautiful 17-Mile Drive.
