From the private entry you’re welcomed with classic 50’s style by a fully appointed, eat-in kitchen that includes everything you need to prepare complete meals during your stay. Even the walls feature Eames-era decor with a changing collection of vintage pieces and original Lowbrow works which currently include such artists as Josh Angle (Shag), Tim Biskup, Chris Riccardi, Bruni and Wells.
The wonderful advantage of The Suite’s layout is that it centers on a luxurious wrap-around, wood-burning fireplace, all located conveniently on one floor. Enjoy a private bathroom with plenty of plush, cotton towels and extras. Refresh, using our large, well-stocked, laundry room complete with ironing board.
Surf, using High Speed wireless Internet. Bring along your iPod and take advantage of our docking station, or, enjoy our CD player. View your favorite movie from our DVD collection on HD wide screen flat panel TV, or catch your favorite show with DirecTV Satellite.
After many years living in Seattle, my husband and I continue to be awed by the beauty of this neighborhood, its proximity to nature, and its breathtaking sunsets. It’s hard to believe we’re only 12 minutes to downtown and even fewer to Alki beach, where we can build bonfires and toast marshmallows!
Even the air here is remarkable. In summer, the evening sea breeze is a tonic that will simply melt your troubles into the Sound. And when ships call from the watery edge of the Puget Sound, you’ll stir from within.
So, pour a glass of wine from here. Come, relax outdoors under The Suite’s own covered porch, and watch the sun slip behind snow-capped mountain peaks as it illuminates the sky. Summer twilight lingering into late evening awaits.
