Located just 1 1/2 hours from Portland, Oregon, this beachfront cottage is located in Rockaway Beach, Oregon where you'll find all the rest and relaxation or vacation adventure you are seeking to enjoy. Two bedrooms and one bath, this great cottage is reminiscent of yester-year with the comforts of today. Large, flat screen TV with DVD player in the ocean view living room. Bring a Presto-type log or two to enjoy in the original red brick fireplace. Sunroom overlooks the expansive deck and the beach. After exploring miles and miles of sandy beaches or surfing, rinse off the salt and sand in the full outdoor shower. This pet friendly home invites your well-behaved dog, with an additional $50 pet cleaning fee.
This home is cared for by a locally-based property management staff, to help you when needed and to ensure that your stay with us goes smoothly.

Great value for a Beach Front Property

We were pleasantly surprised with this little cottage. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 young children) and our black lab. Very clean and neatly kept home. Great view and directly at the beach. The closed-in entry was perfect as it was very rainy and windy and we were able to take of all the dirty clothes and shoes before entering the home. The washer and dryer were very important as I brought my cloth diapers along and we could wash our wet and sandy clothes after each beach walk.
Quiet location and close to Tillamook Cheese Factory, Cape Meares Lighthouse and Wildlife Refuge and some nice dining at the ocean. Miles and miles of beach to explore and walk along right in front of the home. Also wonderful to sit and watch the rain come down and see the tide come and go.
The fire place was a problem though, as it did not draw enough and is open. We did use a presto log, but the living room got all smokey and set off one of the smoke alarms. Then the smoke alarm's battery was low and it kept beeping, so we had to take it out. Long story short, I wouldn't recommend using the fire place.
All in all we were very happy with the home and the price was right and we were pleased to be able to take our dog along and be right at the beach.
