With views of the Nestucca River, Mayes Resort Cottage is located in Pacific City, Oregon, right across the street from the new public boat launch and and dock. A great spot for fishing, beach walking or a quiet coast retreat. The lovely home is a fully renovated fishing cabin relocated to the current lot from the old Mayes Resort, which used to be in Pacific City in the early 1940's and 50's. Less than a mile to the beach access, you can easily explore the quaint area. Grocery store, Greatful Bread Cafe Bakery and the Public Library are all with a block of the cabin. Outdoors you may relax on the river-view deck or enjoy the fire pit or prepare your catch of the day or evening meal on the BBQ. You may like to bring your own Kayak or riverboat to enjoy fishing or touring the scenic river. Professionaly decorated using pieces from Ikea and World Market, the furnishings and décor make this newly remodeled cabin a uniquely special place for one or two couples to enjoy. Step inside the cabin and the first private suite has a cozy front room with sofa, flat screen T.V. with DVD, dining for four guests and a compact kitchen you’ll be delighted to cook a fine gourmet meal in. With an Asian flair, the bedroom has a queen bed, sliding door to the deck and a wonderful walk-in shower. The second private suite, accessed from outside of the main cabin, also has an Asian décor and with a queen-sized bed, flat screen .V. and a compact mini-convenience kitchen complete with fridge and toaster oven, you’ll be able to enjoy private couple time away from the other members of your group. The private bath has a walk-in shower. With special weekly pricing and a washer and a dryer in the main cabin, you’ll be able to enjoy extended stay vacations anytime of the year. With the two bedrooms being located as if they are individual units, this home is not suitable for couples with children. However, two couples traveling together will find complete privacy at Mayes Resort Cottage with a comfortable and ample room to enjoy meals and social times together in the main cabin. Hot Tub available with the payment of a $30 hot tub fee.
