Fishing on two rivers within ten minutes of the home
Brief Description: This three bedroom, two and a half bath home is located just twenty minutes outside of Bozeman, conveniently close to both the Gallatin and Madison Rivers. The home is tastefully furnished with all of the comforts of home.
Bedrooms and baths: Raw Sienna Sky has three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The main floor of the home has a large bedroom at each end - both bedrooms are very spacious with a queen size bed, and an easy chair or two. The bedroom at the west end of the home has a large private bath with a clawfoot tub, and a separate walk in shower, as well as doors out to the deck. The bedroom at the east end of the home has a full bathroom out in the hallway. This full bathroom is shared with the upstairs loft bedroom, which has one queen size bed, and two twin beds as well. There is a half bath located just off the loft bedroom.
Kitchen and dining area: The complete kitchen is set up with high end gourmet appliances, beautiful tilework, and all the cookware, serving ware and kitchen amenities that you could possibly need. The kitchen is open to both the dining and living areas. The elegant dining room table is just off to the side, and seats eight comfortably. There is a mini stereo system here where you can plug in an ipod.
Living room: The living room is at the other end of the great room, with a beautiful rock fireplace as a focal point. There is a television with DVD player, and satellite service for your evening entertainment. There is also a good selection of games, as well as some general fiction and other reading material available.
Outdoor Amenities: A great deck in the back of the home provides a place to sit and have dinner or just enjoy the views. It has a BBQ to grill your meals outdoors and a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day.
Setting, acreage, views: The home is located on ten acres with a gorgeous view of the rolling hills to the south, a great area for elk herds in the fall and winter. To the east is the Bridger Mountain Range. The rocky hillside below the home frequently has mule deer wandering through, nibbling on the sagebrush.
Activities nearby: Besides hiking and mountain biking on nearby trails, there is fishing just ten minutes away on the Madison and Gallatin Rivers, horseback riding, golf, skiing, rafting, tours of Yellowstone National Park, and everything that the towns of Bozeman, Big Sky, and Ennis have to offer. Norris Hot Springs, a local hot spot with live music and a mineral pool for soaking is just twenty minutes away. Winter visitors are conveniently located to head to Bridger Bowl Ski area or Big Sky resort, or go exploring the winter wonders of Yellowstone Park.
Closest town and airport: It's about 20 miles to Bozeman or Belgrade, 50 miles to Big Sky and 25 miles to Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport. Yellowstone Park is about 1.5 hour drive from the home.
This is a green home! Raw Sienna Sky is in our Green Homes program – an effort by Mountain Home and our homeowners to be a bit gentler on our beautiful landscape. To be a Green Home, a property must utilize compact fluorescents for at least 75% of its lighting, supply recycled fiber paper products, use gentler cleaning products, and offer recycling bins for guest use.
What's included: You’ll receive a complimentary security deposit waiver so you don’t have to pay a security deposit. Your home is completely prepped before you arrive and fully cleaned after your stay – at no charge to you. For guests who stay twelve nights or more, a weekly cleaning is also included. Additional housekeeping can all be arranged with a bit of prior notice. All Mountain Home properties have fully equipped kitchens, include good quality bed and bath linens, staples like paper goods, laundry and dish washing supplies, and our signature Mountain Home hand soaps. You just bring your gear and the groceries!
Other details: To ensure that all of our homes are maintained to the highest standards for our guests, no smoking is allowed in any of our homes and no pets are allowed on our properties without prior written approval from Mountain Home.
