Beautiful and very private setting on 40 acres on the Gallatin River
Brief description: This wonderful second story guest house is on an amazing 40 acre parcel along the Gallatin River. It is a beautifully furnished, quite spacious, studio style apartment.
Bedroom and baths: There is one sleeping area at the far end of the apartment with a queen size bed. There is a wall of floor to ceiling bookshelves, and a curtain to close off the space for privacy. Then, out in the living space there is a trundle bed which can serve as extra lounging space, or it actually pulls out underneath providing two twin size beds. There is one full bathroom in the apartment.
Kitchen: This kitchen has absolutely everything you will need to cook up a hearty breakfast before going fishing, or for your evening dinner after a day of exploring! All cookware, serving ware, utensils and a spice cabinet are there for guests. There is a table that seats four just off to the side of the kitchen and living area. This homes does not have a microwave.
Living room: The cozy living room has a great sofa, the trundle bed which provides more lounging space, and a smaller television with satellite service, VCR and DVD.
Setting, acreage, views: From the back door, head out and explore mowed pathways meandering through the meadows and trees down to the river. There is a stocked trout pond as well - a gorgeous spot to just lay in the grass and enjoy the peace and quiet... or do some practice casting! Catch and release only, please.
Activities nearby: Guests have private access to fishing out the back door on the Gallatin River and its just a 15 minute drive or so to the Madison River. There is also hiking and mountain biking on nearby trails, horseback riding, golf, skiing, tours of Yellowstone National Park, and everything that the towns of Bozeman, Big Sky, and West have to offer.
What's included: You’ll receive a complimentary security deposit waiver so you don’t have to pay a security deposit. Your home is completely prepped before you arrive and fully cleaned after your stay – at no charge to you. For guests who stay twelve nights or more, a weekly cleaning is also included. Additional housekeeping can all be arranged with a bit of prior notice. All Mountain Home properties have fully equipped kitchens, include good quality bed and bath linens, staples like paper goods, laundry and dish washing supplies, and our signature Mountain Home hand soaps. You just bring your gear and the groceries!
Other details: To ensure that all of our homes are maintained to the highest standards for our guests, no smoking is allowed in any of our homes and no pets are allowed on our properties without prior written approval from Mountain Home.
