This is one of those odd situations where the name of this home actually pales in comparison to the actual experience of being in it - Angler`s Alley is built on no ordinary lakeside nor is it an ordinary cabin. Located in the quaint "village" of Fawnskin, this blonde log, two-story home with a deck and boat dock to die for is located right on the water`s edge. No need to get in the car and drive down to the lake, hunt for a parking space, grab all your gear, the kids and the cooler and shuffle down in your flip flops to the lake- because you`re already there.
The Jacuzzi at Angler`s Alley was built right into the back deck and whilst you are bubbling away watching the sunset with a sifter of brandy or watching the sunrise with a sifter of brandy - you will be in awe of the elements. Right in front of your eyes stands the grandeur of the forest, the breathtaking peaks of the mountains and endless shimmers of light bouncing off of the lake`s surface. No ordinary Lakeside Cabin at all.
Captain John`s Harbor is twenty feet to the left of your front door. If by chance you forgot to pack that container of Night crawlers you can buy a couple of their Big Bear cousins here as you don`t want to go fishing off of your private boat dock with anything less. Especially if you expect to conquer one of those huge Bass that spend half of their day jumping out of the lake`s water like Shamu at feeding time. I`ve got an Iowa quarter that says you will have a fish on the end of your pole in less than an hour`s time... I`m not kidding!
Every single solitary vantage point from this house has a view - the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the kitchen, and the living room. After spending a day on the lake, and an evening in the Jacuzzi, you can spend the night in front of the fireplace staring out over the lay of this beautiful land, by then you will appreciate my sentiments of Angler`s Alley being no ordinary cabin at all.
