Big Bear Lake Vacation Rental cabin

It`s a magazine morning here at Bear Loop Lodge. You carted a half a year`s unread magazines up the mountain promising to at least glance through them. You settle into a comfortable chair in the front room of Bear Loop and start looking at the pictures. A couple of issues of Bon Appetite, a holiday special of Southern Living and what seems to be a 50 pound Vogue. The crock pot is making the house smell wonderful and the more comfortable you get the harder it is not to just stare out the windows at summer in Big Bear.

Everyone shot off to the lake to go exploring about an hour ago so the house is quiet. Not normal quiet like you have at home, but mountain quiet. You drop what you`re doing just to smile to yourself - it`s been years since everyone has gotten together. Outside of the occasional wedding and dreaded funeral - you can`t remember a time when a dozen of the people you love the most came together just for the sake of being together. What a great idea Bear Loop Lodge has turned out to be and what a fabulous afternoon you`ve had basically doing nothing but lounging and daydreaming.

It`s not until 4 that you hear the laughter outside as the car doors slam shut. Everyone is home and by the looks and sounds as they barrel through the front door, they have stories to tell and an appetite to fill. It warms your heart to see the seeds that you have sewn.
