Big Bear Lake Vacation Rental cabin

Not that time matters, but you`ve been sitting on the back deck of Scandia Peaks now for at least two hours. Your feet are propped up on the rail and you`re now slouched down in a deck chair about as low as you can go. You`re on your third cup of Ginseng tea and eventually you know that you will have to get up for one of two things - another cup or chocolate... nothing else is important enough to move over at this moment and that is perfectly alright.

Everyone else in your party is boarding at Bear Mountain. Someone was smart enough to bring along a set of two-way radios and every now and then you laugh out loud when your friends on the other end ask if you can see them waving to you from the top of Geronimo... you could if you grabbed the binoculars - but once again, that would involve getting up... perhaps when you take a jump for that Dove bar?

Thus far, your weekend getaway to Scandia Peaks has been fantastic. The house is warm and comfortable, the views are paradise and the back deck is a little slice of heaven. Tonight, the eight of you are going into town for dinner and a movie and tomorrow you just may have a go at this skiing thing yourself... that`s of course if you`re willing to part from the lounge chair and its place on the back deck. Until then you have another hour until the lifts close for the day - that should take care of one more chapter and a replay of Bonnie Raitt`s greatest hits... ain`t life great?

Scandia Peaks is a place to tune out of the craziness and tune in to pure bliss... clock not included.
