Great Villa, but lots of steps and a steep walk!

We rented this villa (and apartment) in August for 8 adults and 6 children. The villa was awesome, loads of space, well equipped, stunning views, great pool. The only thing to be aware of is that the villa is over many levels, the lowest being 3 flights of steps down via the outside. It also has many balconies and large open windows with high drops.I did find myself panicking a lot about the children climbing or falling down many stone steps both inside and out!
Access to the villa is a very steep drive up the mountain, beautiful scenery, but made walking anywhere impossible for small children, elderly or disabled. The local taxi service however is brilliant, reliable, very quick and reasonably priced (Fuengirola is 7 min drive for 7 euros,Benalmadena 20 mins and 20 euros) Also note that the address the agent gave us for the villa confused the taxi drivers (and sat nav) a little, therefore try and write it down to show them and confirm with agent that it is precise! We did also get taxis to the train station in Fuengirola and then bought an allday travel ticket for 6 euros. This service is also very good and Malaga train station has lockers to leave your suitcases while you explore the city (4 large cases in 1 locker cost about 10 euros. We arrived at about 9pm, and were a little disappointed that we couldn't access or find a little shop to get some milk etc.Would advise if you were to arrive this late then ask the agents to arrange a welcome pack of essentials or definately try and stop somewhere on route from airport. We did also have to buy loo rolls, dishwasher tablets and basic cleaning items as there were none within the villa. The zoo in Fuengirola was brilliant and definately worth going late in the day (it's open till midnight in high season) as less busy and less hot! The market on Tuesday morning is also well worth a look around for novelty gifts and great for children to speak a little spanish as they spend their pocket money. The little town of Mijas is beautiful and definately worth spending a morning here too.It only really has tourist type shops but is stunning with lovely charactor. The El Potro restaurant is 5 mins walk (15 on way back due to steepness!!) and serves a great meal, for about 15 euros (main and dessert)
Overall we loved it here, but needed more info about accessability and villa set up prior to arrival.I would return when children are older with plenty of money for taxis!!
