Wonderful location 5 minutes from Champs-Elysées, the most beautiful avenue in the world - 45 m2 apartment on the third floor with lift. Light and spacious, sunny exposure, balcony, quiet, clean & safe. It's one minute from the métro station Pont de Neuilly (ligne no. 1). There are also three buses (43, 73 and 82) so it's very convenient for getting around Paris. It's near the post office, banks, shops and restaurants; nearby shops include small supermarket, frozen food shop, bakers, butchers, pharmacies and internet café. It's also near the Bois de Boulogne for pleasant walks. The apartment is located in rue Charcot, métro station Pont de Neuilly. It's two metro stations from Porte Maillot (where there are buses for Charles de Gaulle, Orly and Beauvais airports). Buses 43, 73 and 82 (Musée d'Orsay, Musée du Luxembourg etc). Also RER at Porte Maillot. Taxi rank nearby. Some free parking locally for your car.

Ideally situated for visiting all of Paris. Close to the métro, buses, trains and taxis. The Bois de Boulogne (the biggest park in Paris) is only five minutes away. Numerous excellent French and international restaurants (Italian, Japanese, etc.). Enjoy walks along the banks of the river Seine and cross the bridge to visit the modern Défense area.

After spending a busy day in the centre of Paris (the métro line no. 1 goes right through Paris) come back to the peace and quiet of the warm and cosy flat. Visit the numerous museums (easy transport takes you to the Louvre, Beaubourg, Musée d'Orsay, etc.) Very good local bakers sell wonderful take-away food and the luxury Le Nôtre shop is nearby. The well-known frozen food shop, Picard, is a couple of minutes away. You can buy wine from one of the wine shops or visit the three supermarkets, and there are markets for fresh food. If you don't like cooking, sample the excellent food in nearby restaurants (French, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, etc.) . Have your breakfast in the corner café and read you English or American newspaper to be found in the newspaper shop. Take a stroll, or even do some jogging in the Bois de Boulogne, which is the biggest park in Paris, and only a short walk away.

We have just spent 4 days at this apartment in Paris and we were very impressed by its central location and comfort.
The property itself was clean and comfortably furnished, with functional kitchen equipment and pleasant internal decoration. Although small it was roomy enough to spread ourselves out and to feel quite able to spend time there when not sightseeing.
Both the owner and her daughter were friendly and helpful when we were booking and when they met us in France, it was a bonus that they both provided a vast amount of local useful information and we felt confident that they could be easily approached should we have any questions.
The location was fantastic - just 2 short metro stops from the centre of Paris and on the main line for nearly all the big attractions, indeed we could quite easliy walk to the Champs Elysesse and you could see both the Arc de Triomphe and La Defense from the end of the road. There was an array of local restaurants, shops, cafes and bakeries - although be warned the food prices can be nearly 3 times those of the UK.
Paris definately lives up to its reputation as a beautiful city and we found plenty of places to walk, jog and picnic.
I would only say on the downside that the apartment caused a few problems as my husband is 6' 4" (re:the shower and bed) and that the final cleaning expectations should really be specified prior to arrival, however overall we had a great time and i would not hesitate in recommending this property to a friend.
