An exceptional stone cottage, on the border between Burgundy and Champagne with stunning views and which has recently been renovated, redecorated and fitted with all modern comforts to a high standard yet furnished mainly with antiques. A light and airy interior where comfort is assured. In the kitchen you will find knives that cut, in the bedrooms the beds made up for your arrival and the bathrooms are clean. This is a gem of a Gite in a blissful setting. The 9m x 4m x 2m (deep) private pool for your exclusive use has curved steps at one end , underwater lighting and will be heated to around 26 degrees (subject to weather conditions) from 28thJune 2008 until 12th September 2008. At other dates the water temperature might be somewhat 'invigorating'! The pool area is paved, boasts a genuine Roman pillar thought to be from the 3rd Century, and is illuminated at night, Inflatable and other toys are provided as well as comfortable seating and sun loungers, parasols and an outside shower

  • The pool is for the exclusive use of Clients and will be heated during the high season from 28th June until 12th September. It may be used outside these dates, at no extra cost , in mid and low season but the water temperature will be somewhat colder.

Bicycles: Simple mountain bikes (bring your own hat ) are available for hire on a weekly basis of 48 Euros. A damage deposit of £25 per bike is asked for and this is fully refundable at the end of the hire period subject only to retention in the case of damage or misuse. Daily rental at 17 Euros may be available - please ask.

Pets: Well behaved dogs are welcome and we can help you through the legal and veterinary procedures.

Evening of Arrival Meal: We can, if booked in advance, prepare a 4 course simple-ish meal which includes wine throughout and coffee at a cost of £15 per head (£7.50 for children up to age of 10) Ask us for sample menus.
