The House: The house was built in 2007 and all the equipment is brand new. It has a modern rural design with an impressive stone wall and big windows with views of the mountains in all directions. The backyard has a 8x4 meters swimming pool and a large BBQ. In five minutes walk you will find the famous Budha Temple which is open for tourist and has also a restaurant were you can enjoy vegetarian food. The area is also famous for its wine and cava production, such as Torres and Freixenet and both offers guided tours. The area have much to offer with its diverse attractions. You can enjoy the quiet mountains, the historic wine areas, the large and beautiful beach at Castelldefells which also offers restaurants, bars, cafes and a large shopping mall and the town of Sitges, which is a very popular destination for its architecture, restaurants and shopping. A city worthy seeing!
Transportation: The house is located 6 km up trough the mountains and therefore a car is needed. You may find car rentals in the airport and the train station Sants. Plana Olivella is located between the two cities Castelldefells and Sitges, and both have train station that takes you in 25min to Barcelona and the trains comes every 15min. The access to Barcelona is very easy as well by car. The road from Plana Olivella connects directly to the highway that takes you to the center of Barcelona and the airport.
